And we're back! I skipped doing New Year's Resolutions for 2024 but I wanted to write down some wishes and goals for 2025. Mostly what I'd like to focus on this year is just slowing things down and working on the fundamentals of my life.
Typically the tradition is 100 resolutions — with tons of filler — but this time we're just going to stop whenever. 😆
- Be happy as much as possible!
- Worry and overthink as little as possible.
- Become a healthy person!
- Exercise and/or walk daily.
- Develop basic muscles.
- No more injuries or getting sick.
- Fix my sleep schedule... D: The ultimate goal is to regularly sleep at midnight and wake up at 8 AM!
- Live as lightheartedly as possible.
- Learn to fully relax my body and mind.
- Do fun things, including what's outside of my comfort zone!
- Work hard without overworking myself.
- Become less of a workaholic / productivity-holic.
- Be more appreciative of all the good things I have or that happen to me.
- Find more joy in mundane and small things.
- Compliment other people more.
- Be confident in myself.
- Speak up for myself more.
- Learn to shake off and let go of regrets.
- Learn to compartmentalize negative feelings and move on to doing other stuff.
- Enforce my boundaries and never allow anyone to ever use me as a punching bag.
- Strengthen friendships with those that I like.
- Improve at speaking, conversation, enunciation, etc.
- Improve at speaking on camera (context: I'm part of a podcast!!! ;v; it's a Grand Archive TCG focused one called TalkGA)
- Make less mistakes when playing Grand Archive.
- Organize master playsets of GA bulk cards for new players!
- Continue making strides against my stage fright.
- No more mindless scrolling on Twitter.
- Dopamine detox...
- Make it a daily routine to use a heated compress for my dry eyes.
- Rest my eyes more often.
- Start regularly taking Omega-3's.
- Engage in hobbies that don't require staring at screens or sitting for long periods.
- Mayhaps I finally practice bass guitar?
- Dance more.
- Remember to stretch before sleeping.
- Figure out how to improve my quality of sleep. Magnesium? Meditation?
- Blog whenever I can!
- Write more in general.
- Read more. (I've become a regular audiobook listener but would be nice to go back and read some of those books.)
- Multi-task less often.
- Improve at time management and predicting how much time I need to get ready for stuff.
- My room needs a mighty tidying lol.
- Be more shameless and forgiving of myself!!
- Be more strict with my acid reflux diet. :c I made too many exceptions this past year... Somebody has to stop receiving exceptions.......... Goodbye, chocolate
- Try to cook more.
- Break my fidgeting habit. You can see it constantly during podcast episodes ugh lmao.
- Without putting too much pressure on myself, I want to be proud of everything I make this year! That means no more overloading my plate which leads to making mistakes and rushing.
- Do cool video projects.
- Sing as much as I can!!!
- Live laugh love man idk
Alright, 50 is good hehe. :)
If anyone is reading this, I hope you have a wonderful fresh new start to your year. ❤️ I'm cheering for ya and hope all your goals and wishes will be fulfilled!
Any cool video plans youre already thinking about?
ReplyDeleteAre there specific people you're hoping to connect with more, like the Youtaite, GA, or just anyone in general? (Feel free to name names!)
Happy new year! I love seeing these each year. I only ever come up with less than a handful so I get a lot of inspiration from your posts.
ReplyDelete10: Do all the fun things!
15: One of my friends used to say "good job" on even the most basic things anyone else would do. At first I thought it was really silly, so I copied it as a joke, but I realized that the acknowledgement and appreciation for others meant more than the exact action. Now it's just a habit and I think it's contributed to me smooth over conversations with upset accounts more than I can count.
18: Spilling milk, spilling tea, it is what it is
20: Absolutely never let them do that, unless you're into it
23: OKAY so I just saw this thanks to this post and again your voice is the best, I could listen to you talk about anything. You sound so excited and ready to talk about the game, it's very fun to listen!
41: One of my job duties required me to estimate timing a lot. Just gotta do things and then check back to see how long it took. Sometimes there's no metric to meet, just getting down pacing so there's no stress, panic, or worry later down the line.
43: How can you be ashamed of being you! It's more shameful to be someone else!
47: You can do anything! ..but not everything (at once).
Also you dropped this
#51: W O R L D D O M I N A T I O N
Go go Evaa~ I know you usually aim for 100 resolutions, but 50 is still incredibly ambitious! 🎉 That said, I love how intentional you’re being this year—rooting for you all the way! 👍
