2016 Resolutions Review

I feel like I'm usually so late with these, but I had a 2-day-long power outage.
My memory is so bad now honestly LOL I'm not sure if my answers will be accurate. If anything, I think in 2016, I became more of an adult. ;u;

1. Has always been #1 since I started these resolutions in 2009: Be happy. :)
Overall I think this was one of my better years emotionally and I can say with confidence that I was pretty happy. ^^ I had some slumps and rough transitions, but I made it through them all and everything's been pretty good since August!

2. Stop sleeping so late..

Oh my god I slept at 5 AM this morning

3. And waking up so late...
Oh my g

4. And being late for everything omg just stop pls
I SUCK.

5. ACTUALLY START THINKING ABOUT YOUR HEALTH!
I NEED TO DO THIS

6. Exercise!
WHY ARE ALL OF MY FIRST RESOLUTIONS SO HARD

7. Maybe start lakexercise again? (In summer 2014, friends and I made it routine to jog/walk the 2 mile circumference of a lake.)
Unfortunately didn't happen, but I did go back to that lake once this year! ..to play Pokemon Go. >A>

8. .. Abs?
I did a cosplay this year that showed my midriff so I did try!!!

9. Continue doing online singing stuff :>
!! ^o^ I was more active than I've been in years! I participated in 3 competitions after abstaining for 4 years, got to be in a handful of collabs, uploaded a solo, and my 10 year anni video.

10. Go at your own pace and don't let others pressure you about things you're not ready for yet.
I think I was pretty good at this last year. It was rough for a while around May dealing with a lot of changes but I think I pulled through it on my own strength, at my own pace.

11. Stop getting so stressed out so easily and by everything ;w;
Ahah..ahahaha.... I've been pretty stressed out lately, but I have a lot of reason.

12. Rest your eyes more often and take off your glasses when you don't need em.

I am terrible.

13. Practice keyboard!
I didn't have time ;;

14. Leeeeet's try to upload that keyboard+singing cover I had wanted to do? :'D;;;
I FAILED THE KEYBOARD PART BUT TEEECHNICALLY I uploaded a preview of what I recorded in my 10 year anni reel!!

15. Don't let anyone push you around for recording/mixing stuff ;n;
Mmmh, I think I've been pushing myself more than anyone. Although..there's been a lot of fixing of others' mistakes, but that's a different thing....

16. Always find time to relax~

I tried until I couldn't recently. 


17. Keep up with k-dramas?
This year was light in k-dramas sadly. I always had to stop my phases because of lack of wifi or being too busy.

18. And k-pop! Or just Lovelyz because right now Lovelyz are important. Are they still important in 2016?
Lovelyz are still very important!!!! I also adopted new children called Pentagon and I love them very much as well.

19. Don't ever feel ashamed of your height again. Just werk it.
Oh now that I think of it, for the most part, I've been feeling better about my height!

20. Be confident! Yeah!! You're the best!!!!

21. Take more pictures ^^

22. Eat vitamins regularly.
I kinda did for a while until my dad said gummy vitamins are apparently not good for you anymore or something??

23. Stop being so easily scared by things..
That is human nature you can't change.

24. Always stand up for what you believe in.
I think I do.

25. Don't be afraid to be yourself in front of others!
Been fluctuating on this. Phases of trying hard to just let go and let myself flow, and phases of being absolutely frightened and tiptoeing because I'm so scared of being watched by judgmental eyes....

26. Learn more about basic things.. like.. car maintenance in case anything happens lol

27. Will I finally learn how to cook.....?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

28. Let's finish my cosplays in time WITHOUT killing myself over them!
LMAO I wasn't sure I was gonna make a new cosplay this year until my wifi drought happened and I totally killed myself in suffering making a sewing-intensive cosplay in 3 weeks when I don't know how to sew and worked full time.

29. Be more motivated in general? ;_;
Had a couple slumps but overall been pretty motivated! It's been a very productive year!! *^*)9

30. Start writing more again. Who is your professor to stomp on your desire to write? Fuck all that.
I started trying to write a new short story on a plane but then lost motivation after landing.

31. Be selfish sometimes.
Pretty selfish sometimes.

32. Also do more things for other people and get them gifts if you see things that remind you of them.
I did that a few times!

33. Random acts of kindness to strangers!
I try!

34. Be more initiating.
I am! :D

35. Improve at working with audio equipment.
Still not very good but improved a bit.

36. Improve...at... lighting and cinematography.. This might be hard. :'D
I ..... don't know... Did I..??? I guess I got more comfortable handling equipment.

37. CAN WE FINALLY LEARN ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS NOW PLEASe
Slowly picking up pieces! Doing a little better!

38. I hope you haven't quit Love Live! School Idol Festival the game yet.

I DISAPPOINT 2016 EVA SO MUCH. I didn't want to quit but the app no longer supported iOS6 which is what my old ass iPad runs.

39. Let's travel even more!
I had business trips in Boston, Kansas City, Phoenix, and Washington DC! And went to NYC for a wedding! 8D

40. Let's.. not go broke!
I WORK FULL TIME NOW SO THIS IS THE MOST MONEY I'VE EVER OWNED, THANK GOD.

41. Eat lots of good food ;D
The one thing I don't hesitate to spend money on ;DD

42. Try even more new things!
8'D I got my hair bleached and dyed pink! And switched to using a smartphone finally..

43. Don't ever get lazy on your skin routine.
I do my bestest!!

44. Even on days when your skin is bad, don't get insecure ;n;
I....tend to forget this. I get incredibly insecure. But hey, I'm more chill about people seeing my pale lips now.

45. Let's.... start caring a bit more about hygiene. HAH.

46. Improve your singing range :D
Pretty sure I did a liittle! LSO pushed my limits haha

47. Practice rapping more.

48. .......Stop...being so afraid of singing in front of people at karaoke.... Just have fun and don't be so nervous and let it all out ;_;
I am so bad at karaoke ;;; The last two times I tried to come out of my shell a bit

51. Get into the habit of making sure my room is neater :'D

59. Relearn some Japanese~
I learned about conjugation and proceeded to forget after a few weeks xD

60. Pick up more Mandarin from work~
I may have, but then I left that job in May :c

61. Speak more Cantonese with your family and coworkers.
I have actually been using more Canto with my parents ayyy!

62. Eat more yogurt and dairy? xD
I did NONE OF THIS.

63. Try weight training?

64. I want to say pick up French again but who knows if that could happen...

66. Become the kind of person who doesn't leave her resolutions post for three days before opening it again because she can't think of anything else.

71. Dress up more often? (Many mornings these days are a game of "what can I pull off wearing over my pajamas today?" because I'm lazy and can't handle cold..)
Not exactly been dressing up but I don't do that pajama thing anymore at least LOLL

73. I'm going to try to eat more burgers from now on since I don't dislike them anymore.
I had maybe 3ish burgers this year which is not bad!

74. Conquer foods that I used to dislike!!
I think I'm less picky now but I still refuse to eat tofu.

75. Walk around the house more instead of sitting at my computer all the time.
I guess since I drink more water now, I have to get up more lol.

76. Try to eat more of a breakfast than just granola bars! (yeah r--)

77. Don't be so tempted by late night snacking.
Been resisting well! Daytime snacking on the other handddd....

78. I guess... try a scary activity? (Last year I went whitewater rafting even tho I was scared as fuck!!)
I WENT ON THE TOWER OF TERROR AT DISNEYS CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE FOR THE FIRST TIME QAQ I closed my eyes though..

79. Film videos. Did I say that already? I forget.
I last minute impulse decided to film a video with 60 shots for my 10 year anniversary...

80. Don't let my handwriting deteriorate too much now that I'm out of school o<-<
It is sooo bad

HOLY SHIT. Now that I think about it, I didn't have any wrist problems this year OAO (to be fair I also stopped playing league..)

86. I know I’m gonna have a few occasions where I need to wear nice dresses and I’ve got butterfingers.. Don’t spill things on any dresses this year!! (It’s happened before)
I went to 3 weddings and don't think I spilled anything~

87. Indulge in things when you feel like it.
I kinda do. 

88. Don’t be too lazy to go out of your way for things that could be beneficial or could make you happy.

89. Let’s get through AX making sure everything goes smoothly and everyone is safe and happy!
We had trouble booking a hotel but AX was pretty good 👍

I'm very stressed out by people and responsibility but that's because everything is problematic

91. Omg almost done. I need to get back into the habit/not be too lazy to use my humidifier more.
I can't remember if I used my humidifier earlier in the year but I got super lazy.  

92. Do more spontaneous short covers when I have time!

93. Check email more often.
Because of work, I'm awaaysss checking my email now LOL orz
