Constantly giving the update of "I've been busy" but I seriously mean it for this year's entire autumn season lolol. Lots of traveling—business trips to Austin and Washington DC.... Chicago was a personal trip but due to deadlines I made the mistake of not fully taking the week off (never again) which resulted in working late nights after spending the day with fome's parents..... Next week is Anime Expo Chibi down near LA where I'll be reprising what I did at AX earlier this year—supporting musical guest performers and photography! And somehow I'm going to be challenging taking photos at a wedding for the first time later this month...

This week alone has been insane too lol. What the heck.

  • Monday - worked til 6 AM to finish draft of video to send to client (thankfully still slept 5 hours instead of pulling an all-nighter like last time)
  • Tuesday - finalized video, it plays at the awards ceremony, lots of great feedback!! 🌟 sometime during this evening, a nasty bug bites my ankle :/
  • Wednesday - flying home from DC ✈️ during the flight my ankle swells up to a balloon.... blisters develop.... it hurts so much I limp off the plane.
  • Thursday - it's my recovery day from the big biz trip but parents wake me up early to go to urgent care, am prescribed medications
  • Friday - meds make my ankle tolerable enough that I still went to our San Francisco stop of BAR Con's Light and Shadow Tour where I helped sell artist merch and took photos! 📸 with some fucked up luck, our tire went flat so after waiting for roadside assistance and slowly crawling along the highway on a dinky spare, didn't get home til nearly 5 AM.
  • Saturday - i stopped existing literally just sleep and ded on the couch
  • Sunday - ...that's today!

---

Before leaving for DC, I also worked on this little promo video for the tour~
Isiliel's reaction to it was so precious I died and went to heaven. 😭😭😭😭

Anyway, for this post I just wanted to compile some of the photos I took at the SF show. It was fun, all the performers were fantastic, and I'm happy that I'll be supporting them next week at AX Chibi as well!

Adventure Day! 🌱🍽 Photo Blog

Hello!! I went on an adventure today ☀️☀️ and want to re-live the full nostalgic experience of an adventure by blogging about it aaa

I'd like to write more about it later but basically for the past month I've been doing what I can to pull myself out of the lowest point of burnout I'd ever been through, and this week I finally, finally cleared my urgent work projects and felt comfortable taking time off from my job! It's my first time taking a proper break since September 2019 when I took a trip to Vancouver.....because even over the holidays I was always busy with big projects......and we're about to start another huge project in May.....so yeah...... I really fucking needed this.

My heart is so full. I wanted to go on an adventure for once—and not be holed up in my room anymore, spend time with a friend(s), be free from the shackles of computer monitors & eye strain headaches, emulate the excitement of travel without safety risks, and have so much fun that there was no room for me to worry about work or feel guilty about productivity—so badly... and we pretty much fulfilled all of that in one day and more. 💗 (tho i'll confess i did read and replied to one email which my boss chided me for lolololol ah i have a long way to go)

The day was spent with my friend Myst who—like myself—has had basically no risk of COVID exposure in over a week and we both live with our parents who are already vaccinated (+ we have a bit of immunity from our first doses), so we felt comfortable carpooling together and not socially distancing between us which was greatly refreshing. ;v;

For our adventure day we considered, let's see.... hiking (both of us: "nah"), a beachside city, or San Francisco... Both of the latter are about an hour's drive away and places we don't frequent but ultimately SF came out on top for the sole reason that it would have better food HAHAHAHAHA. And we happily continued with our philosophy of following our stomachs for the entire day! Literally my purpose in life to be honest!!!!!

And as we were driving home, we realized just how shocking it was the amount of experiences we had for a day with little plans... We had a lot of fun. :> I'd like to make myself remember that I was able to have a day full of so much enjoyment, tasty food, and good fortune and encounters—even as we're in a pandemic and after such a long period of. I don't even know how to describe it. Stress? Drought? Isolation? Bad vibes? Feeling unfulfilled? All of the above.

Unboxing Snow Miku 2019 Nendo ❄️

Oops I have a ton of projects I need to work on (and I will as I have more time off work through the holidays!) but instead ?? I yolo filmed and edited a quick unboxing vlog ???

❄️✨❄️✨

There's a stupidly specific chain of events that led to this happening LOL.

1) Fome surprised me by having a microphone boom arm delivered to my house—the exact item that I've been meaning to buy for myself but kept procrastinating on... Thx fome!!

2) I wanted to shoot a small vlog thing about the Before vs. After of my mic setup.

3) But first, needed to embellish my new desk setup a little! My workplace just bought me a sit-stand desk to have at home and it's CHANGED MY LIFE. ✨

4) I decided it'd be super cute to have the Snow Miku nendo accompany me on my desk......

5) It was also a gift from fome from last year so I thought I should show him my reaction and I felt my friends would probably be interested in seeing cute Hatsune Miku nendo as well!

6) Somehow I ended up just filming a whole unboxing video on my phone and quickly edited it and uploaded in the same evening HAHAHAHAHA ???

Here is my unexpected low effort vlog upload!!!

Welp, at this point I always do these late—although this isn't quite as bad as when I posted it in November last year—but I turned 27 back in May and it's been my tradition to always post a mirror selfie wearing this Birthday Girl shirt ever since I was 15!

....
There's no logical reason to do this but I'm going to do the exact same thing I did last year and hijack the post to share my recent DIY + purchased earrings LOL.

OOOOOOPS.... It's a personal tradition of mine to post a mirror selfie with this shirt every year for my birthday, except I always forget to do it around the time of my birthday on May 2nd.... This is a record worst—7 months late!!! I'm closer to my next birthday than the last one!! I've already changed a lot since May!!! LOL. It honestly surprised me to see such a big stylistic jump from last year's post to now.

I'm now 26 (and a half), still not really a competent adult, but I don't let it bother me as much these days looool. I'm just doing what I can.

So grateful to my "fairy godmother" for introducing me to clip-on earrings because they were absolutely the Low-Effort Big-Glow-Up accessory I've been looking for ✨ Such a simple but striking visual upgrade; I love it! It's been really fun to alter my look with different earrings and doing some crafty work by making my own. Feels like the possibilities are endless and I look forward to exploring them 💞

And then this became a selfie dump post, sorry. I really like earrings now. My life is forever changed.

💕💕💕 My fifth year attending KCON and I'm still impressed at how I almost always have a good time as long as the ticket wars don't kill me! This year's lineup included two of my favorite girl groups (IZ*ONE and LOONA) and just overall most things were really fun and reasonably well executed in my opinion! It's still insane that simply at the convention itself—before you even make it to the concerts—you can encounter a ton of idols, listen to their special talks, potentially interact with them. ;u; I find some panels pretty interesting and I really enjoy exploring the expo with all the free beauty and food samples and loads of unbelievably delicious sales!! It's just become a no-brainer for me to go every year LOL.

Artists that we saw this year!!!

💘 Owns my soul probably: IZ*ONE, LOONA
💕 Love~: fromis_9, SF9
🌸 Like: NU'EST, Mamamoo, Itzy, Seventeen
👌 I guess I like?: N.Flying, AB6IX
🔍 Interested in learning more: ATEEZ, Stray Kids
😊 Neutral: Momoland, Verivery

Just like me, this post is long and messy—sorry, not sorry.

Why do I never find the time to update this blog :(
Here's a hopefully quick one as I'm wrapping things up and prepping to fly out to Japan and Korea in 2 days!!

It's been busy... In March, I had a business trip to DC for one of the more intense projects that I handle. I get to honor some genius and hardworking students in STEM, so it's very fulfilling and worth the long days spent editing in my hotel room!

Aside from that, there's been lots of fun outings with NorCal youtaite and I'm working on Youtaite React episode 2. Also have a solo cover in the works!!! Hopefully will have it out not long after I'm back from the trip. ;o;

I plan to vlog in Japan and Korea, but I'm only bringing my DSLR so I may have some good biceps by the end of it all LOL. Unfortunately, it was reallyyy hard to find a lens that would be ideal for vlogging (good in low light, compact, AFFORDABLE...) so here's what I've got now!

A pancake lens! It's 24 mm with a max aperture of F2.8, so it's...not that wide (this camera has a crop sensor) and fine in low light but not the best. It was $150, which is really good since lenses go into the thousands lol..

And here's where a hack comes in. I took a risk on this $25 attachment that screws onto your lens and is supposed to make the angle wider by 0.43x. Downsides are that it's rather big for comfortable vlogging, it's fisheye, and it does distort around the edges—but for how cheap it is, it's pretty cool!

I apologize that I REALLY CAN'T REMEMBER whether or not I moved in between taking these two pics, and I don't have any other examples I can pull up quickly right now.. But here's kind of maybe a reference of comparison ;; I can't imagine I would've moved too much since there was a rail.

Anyway, I did have one free day in DC during that business trip last month, so I finally did some touristy things and checked out the botanic garden and a museum :'D I took the chance to try to familiarize myself with vlogging again so I put together a mini vlog! Featuring Sohly who's a youtaite that writes killer raps.

[Mini Vlog] A Day in DC!

I said I would make it quick but I realized I haven't gotten a chance to post up all of the pictures I took at the botanic garden of pretty flowers, so here is a photo dump /o/

I bought my first kigurumi!!! ㅠㅠ Kigus are freaking expensive, but I've been considering getting one for years and I needed a riajuu Halloween costume that's not my cosplays or Disney Princess costumes..... Plus it's soft and comfy and will keep me warm///

I liked sea otters before but omg after I went to the aquarium last month...... they've been holding my heart hostage. So fucking cute. And they're predators so they're fierce! And playful! They're just like mer-dogs Q___Q Ohhh, my heart.

Let's Not Be Robots

I'm sorry if you disagree, but we must think very differently if you do. I went to a big sales conference today and saw a big fancy keynote, and frankly I feel like the only thing I learned was that I was right in my beliefs. I never wanted to be a robot. I refuse to be a robot. Today I'm very glad that I stuck to my guns in choosing to pursue the creative media industry because it was the only thing I decided I "didn't hate" when I transitioned into college. I'm an art major—I'll never make a lot of money and will never become truly influential or universally acknowledged as successful—but I'm a proud lowly, poor employee of arts because I can't imagine having to live a life in which my job is unsatisfactory or meaningless or insincere, when just the bare action of living life is already hard. I know if I had forced myself, like others wanted, to pursue something my heart doesn't feel right in, I'd be fucking miserable. :/

And I don't mean anything to be a jab towards non-arts as a whole—people should pursue their passions, and however their hearts choose, that's awesome—but just I find certain aspects can be so messed up? And it's really not for me. I hate to sound so fragile as to be offended by a notion, but I'm honestly so offended that anyone can value "productivity" (tbh euphemism for "making more money") over....basic courtesy of customer service and socialization? You expect me to applaud you for using an application that saves a salesperson time by using pre-written generic email responses to customers? That pains me!!!

Shouldn't customer service be about genuinely listening to their needs and helping to guide them towards solutions and ensuring that they're happy, if it's a respectable relationship? Wouldn't sincere, basis-specific, personable, enjoyable interactions be more appropriate to drive a better business and social relationship? Wouldn't everyone be happier? And ultimately if you want to think profit, people will pay money for things and interactions that make them happy. Compared to a heartless quota, I think that's wiser and more admirable. I have to say that I'm really, really, really proud that the amazing people I work with value 'customer service' and 'fun' just as much as they do 'quality'—they inspire me—and hey, clients come back to work with us because they love collaborating with us and the results we create. And I'm not a miserable robot so that's pretty cool.
Anyway, I know better now what type of person I should strive to become ^^!

On the way back, we stopped by a museum store full of cool, interesting stuff and I made a purchase I'm super happy with tbh LOL.

Lenses that you clip onto your mobile device!!!!

Me: Woah, this is cool. But do they actually work lol
Coworker: Oh yeah those do work!! They're pretty cool!
Me: Really? WAIT THIS ENTIRE THING FOR 3 LENSES IS 10 BUCKS.
Me:
Me:
Me: I'M BUYING THIS.

It's super cool! And such a good deal! I almost feel like I ripped off the store. Next time I go back, I may feel compelled to give a donation to that museum LOLOLOL....

This is the wide lens—my favorite so far. <3 It's shocking how effective it is and it doesn't look bad! These two pictures were taken from the exact same position; all I did was snap, remove the clip from my phone, snap again.

Fisheye lens that I'm 99% certain will be utterly useless to me.

Macro lens for tiny things and that suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper ridiculously shallow depth of field!

I'm trying to make the best of my relax time before maso hell begins ehe~ Gonna have a chill weekend before the LSO mix gets passed to me and I'll be working on it every night after work until the deadline on Friday :'D.....

For the first time in likely over 5 years, I tried to draw again! It's not very much, and it's not very good—but it's a refreshing, nostalgic, fluttery feeling. In middle school, I drew so much that I even started working on an anime that had a whole story written out.. Somehow sometime in high school, I just...stopped. I wish I didn't because my sense of creativity since then stopped flowing. :c

Hahaha....I can't believe the one thing that motivated me to pick up a pencil again was Zen from Mystic Messenger LOL! This game has me in shackles and I'm currently on Zen's route after finishing Yoosung's. Honestly, Zen's is sooo much better. He's such a sweet, caring character whose worries feel almost realistic. The game is giving me such feels!! It's fun, interesting, and sometimes even comforting. ^^

Oh and a few weeks ago, I started using Overtone's dye conditioner! My pinkish coral ombre hair from May had faded to plain blonde for a while now, and the awesome Gino recommended this as an easy and effective way to redye my hair. I like it a lot! I love that I can just apply it in the shower without worrying about it getting everywhere, and it smells like yummy spearmint. The color turned out pretty well even after one use, although the spread wasn't as balanced as I hoped.

Pastel pink~ This color was back-ordered when I bought it so I expected to wait a few weeks, but surprise! It came 4 days later!! With shipping, it came out to $23.50.

Blonde before using Overtone~ My company got an air hockey table recently so sometimes I practice when I'm the last one to leave the office lololol (still suck tho)

After Overtone! Featuring the Gemini girls <3 Chiisana and Mimi, who had just gotten her hair done with a pretty ash blonde balayage. *__* (if you've seen my last post, she seriously doesn't age, right!!!!!!)

Memebox Haul / I'm Tint Balm (Lovely Coral) Review

:'D Due to KCON's influence and my growing obsession with Korean skincare, I got my first order from Memebox (sadly pronounced me-me-box and not meme-box) this week~
Until the end of August, the code KCONXMEMEBOX will get you a 20% discount kekekeke

My new skincare goods are SO MUCH AESTHETIC.
So far I like them? I must say though that all three of these products feel thick on my face—which could be good or uncomfortable. I don't know to what exactly I can attribute it, but my skin has been a lot better this week! Yay! It could be a specific product(s), or the fact that I've added a few steps to my nightly skin routine. :D

SCINIC Pig Collagen Jelly Cream: Such an interesting texture, but I guess you should expect that from a product of..pig parts.... It reminds me of jello (makes sense 'cause gelatin), in that it's almost a semisolid when it sets... It's fascinating and I don't mind it. ^^ I'm using it as a sleeping pack.

SCINIC Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule 95: My first ampoule! And first time trying hyaluronic acid which is supposedly great for dry skin. Oh please oh please save my dry ass skin. I love that it comes with a dropper.

GOODAL Firming Camellia Water Oil: YOOOOOOOO THIS PACKAGING! The bottle is frosted glass, which makes it a pleasure to behold and touch. And it's a pump! I don't know how to categorize a "water oil" (it's neither watery nor oily; it's like a gel) so I treat it as essence. There's another GOODAL product I love, so I trust this.. Oh please oh please save my premature wrinkles.

I also bought this blackhead remover because...:'D isn't everyone curious as to how many blackheads they'll pull off their nose? It'll be interesting to try.

Lastly, I got the I'M MEME I'm Tint Balm (Lovely Coral) since I've been looking for more lip products that are moisturizing and have lasting color. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good!

It feels like lip balm, looks like lip gloss, and lasts like lip tint. ^^
That's.... 2 out of 3 of what I want LOL.

KCON LA 2016

Oh my god KCON this year was such a mess. I loved it soooo much last year that I pledged to try to go again in all coming years even if it was expensive, and THIS YEAR LET ME DOWN SO HARD. From as early as the stupid unfair ticket sale process (only a few of the sections were available to buy from?? AND they put you in a random place in line, not first-come-first serve), it was mostly stupid all the way through. Stupid needlessly long lines in which I spent most of my KCON waiting. Stupid things that were not clear or written wrongly or not written at all or not well thought-through or "I can't help you; go wait in that line instead," "I can't help you; you'll have to wait for my supervisor." So! many! things! went wrong! STUPID AS FUCK lack of screens during the concerts so unless you spent a shitload of money and were lucky enough to get the good tickets, you couldn't see anything! I've never been to a concert before that didn't have big screens so that people in the back could see. Who does that?! Fucking KCON!

Yo look at this panorama from the night I had better seats and see if you can spot the only screens.

But positive points!
I continue to adore all of the K-beauty access and information at the convention. Last year, Charlotte Cho (Sokoglam) and beautifymeeh's panel basically changed my life forever!!!! It taught me most of the things I know about skincare! I've been hooked on Korean skincare since, dedicated myself to a nightly skin routine, and it smoothed out my skin. *___* Plus all the products are well packaged and there's such a variety and it's pretty fun to be into LOL.

This year, my favorite panel was Aritaum's—I learned a lot about how to apply different products and the research behind the products, and the reps were so sweet! ;v; Chiisana and I visited their booth and one of the reps offered to give Chiisa a mini-makeover to test which BB cushion is her color. They used the same products demonstrated at the panel, and her skin looked better than ever, so I was persuaded to buy the Iope Bio Hydro Cream since I have dry skin ehe.. (And it came with nice free samples for expensive things *A*) So far, it's made my face look pretty moisturized!

I actually really liked how my skin looked on this day! I used the tips I learned from the panel kekeke

My favorite Aritaum product continues to be the Water Sliding Lip Tint though. It's the only Aritaum product Chiisa and I owned before this week, but it's both of our current favorite lip products, something we literally use everyday, and the only reason we decided to attend the panel LOL. It's seriously an awesome lip tint and it puzzles me as to why I never hear about it!!! We learned about and bought them for the first time in a store that was having a BOGO deal, so they were like $4.50 each or something. And this year we went back to that store just to get them again (although ours from last year haven't run out yet still!).

Anyway, all of the cosmetics promoters at the con were so very generous! Chiisa and I spent most of our [limited] convention time in the "Beauty Block" section of the expo hall. Most of the booths had giveaways so we participated in a handful of them, and sometimes the sponsors would go through everyone in line and give a free mask as a thank you for waiting!! Even with how little time we got to spend at the convention and not in lines, we've accumulated a good amount of free Korean skincare products LMAO.

ALL THE AWESOME FREE K-BEAUTY PRODUCTS I GOT WAAAAA

Another positive point was the cool concert line-up. I think the performances overall were pretty good but it was damn hard to tell when I couldn't see much. The energy was there though! It was still fun even though I was annoyed.

[Review] Secret Key Haul First Impressions

Monday, April 11, 2016

YOOOOO I haven't done a post like this in a long time! Because I'm a sucker for anything related to Lovelyz, I went and ordered a mini haul from skincare/make-up brand Secret Key—which has blessed us with one of Lovelyz' first commercials, below. FUCK YEAH I'M SO HAPPY FOR THEM ;U;

These are the things I ordered!

Honestly I only really wanted the lip tint because I'm a sucker for pretty lip products, but HEY MAN, FREE SHIPPING OVER $49 hahahahahaha..ha.. It turned out fine since I'll need a toner replacement soon, and my liquid eyeliners and mascara have long dried up .... :'D
ALSO some really nice deals happening on Secret Key!! All in all, I only paid $41.23 for a $75.43 value order. And still got free shipping! The Lovelyz coupon gave me 20% off, but the current one is "10% off + 10% mileage plus" until April 17th.

Not to mention the lip tints and eyeliner were part of an amazing 1 + 1 deal, which is still going!
Actually, I'm missing the brown eyeliner that I ordered so I'll see how customer service handles that.

But I ain't even mad because WOW I didn't expect all of these extra free gifts?!

  • Nature Recipe Mask Pack - Aloe
  • Chubby Sweets Lip Scrub
  • UV CUT High Protection Sun Cream
  • 24K Gold Premium First Essence x 2

Is someone in trouble for packing my order wrong or is Secret Key just insanely generous? The sun cream and lip scrub aren't even sample size!! Maybe it's because they know I'm a lovelinus. ^^

Straight up, the most interesting things I got in this package were:
1) the SYN-AKE toner which is supposedly synthetic snake venom which supposedly reduces wrinkles, and
2) the free 24K essence which seems to... actually have little gold flakes floating in it..... Has gold always been good for the skin, or is this just a really expensive gimmick?

I'll be doing a first impression review on the lip tint and eye liner under the cut. :> Warning: I don't know shit about make-up and there are many waaaay-too-close-up pictures of my face.

[Review] Mise en scène / Hello! Bubble Foam Hair Dye (Raspberry Red)

Tuesday, June 9, 2015

I'm a noob both in terms of hair products and reviews, but HI! Here was my experience with the Hello! Bubble "foam color" hair dye in 7R Raspberry Red~

I totally wasn't inspired to buy this product because of any k-pop song. Nope.

Six weeks ago, I dyed my hair for the first time! (And nearly immediate second time for better effect.) Was hoping for a dark red/auburn, but 22-year-old virgin hair was like, "Nope I give you reddish brown that looks black unless you're in direct light."

So Hello! Bubble joins the scene as I was hoping to go more red now that my hair is lighter than before. Results slightly differed from what I expected, but overall my experience with the product was good!

Initially I thought that it didn't turn out the way they advertised.. but looking at the below picture closer, they didn't actually advertise a huge difference, so I shouldn't have expected much LOL.
It just confuses me that my hair keeps getting lighter into golden reddish brown, rather than a deep reddish brown?

The product was straight-forward and easy to use. Mix two packets, shake the bottle, pump the foam, apply all over hair, wait. Really not as messy as I expected! (I make big messes.) The foam was easy to handle—no dripping!—but holy fuck I was shocked by how purple it is.

I was pleased that it wasn't nearly as smelly as the last dye I used. ^^ Also washes off your skin and everywhere with no problem.

One small con though, which is that I do feel that my hair has gotten slightly more coarse, having originally been very soft due to its thin fineness. The difference is subtle though and I wouldn't say it dried out or damaged my hair. :>

Overall I liked this product, which was pretty effective for something I don't really have complaints about. But if you want saturation, I wouldn't substitute this for bleaching. Affordable, very little downsides, would use again!!
Bless Girl's Day.

Light makes such a big difference tho wtf I don't even understaaaand (Avengers Go-Gurt makes me very happy)

I AM OKAY!

On another note, my new Samsung NX1100 camera arrived a few days ago! So exciting!! I love it a lot~
I got it on Black Friday sale for $289, which is way out of my budget but still so much better than its original price of $500-600. Considering it comes with the 20-50mm lens and a detachable flash, it's a really good deal.

I have no experience with photography, but I'm excited that I can start playing with depth of field and aperture! Can't wait to make vlogs with this either :>

There's nothing quite interesting in my room but here are a few pictures. (Every picture in this post is unedited, with the exception of my mom's blurred out face.)

The jet that watches over and protects Eva Blvd

My high school valedictorian medal ;D Can't forget that.

Yonghwa on my You're Beautiful poster

And so I ran around the house looking for things to take pictures of!
I found these two charms/dolls that I thought were adorable and fit the characters of Frozen perfectly. ;u;

Anna is dreaming.

Elsa is queening in ice-olation.

Full bloom

When Eva really looked like a boy.

Lastly, this unintentional picture that I ended up liking a lot.
My dad came in my room randomly one night and was like, "DO YOU KNOW HOW PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE HOLD THEIR CAMERAS?" and I was like, "I DON'T FREAKIN CARE" and then he proceeded to tell me that I should hold my camera like that^ to look more professional.
So I tried it and turned to the mirror to see what it looks like and to take a test picture, not even bothering to notice that the brightness setting was too high.

But I like the fantasy-esque effect that came out, as well as the emphasis on my two favorite colors: white and blue. ^^

I guess I've been whining a lot lately about feeling lonely or restless and how I don't have many people to casually hang out with, so I'm happy I do have some cool tomodacheese and that I've been out of the house more lately. <3

On Saturday, I had a really fun day out with Myst, Kazou, and Dibur!
Myst I'm assuming most people know or have heard of by now. Kazou started hanging out with us last month and he's an adorable but extreemely tall (even to me..) Korean guy who has a gentle, charming, and controlled voice to fucking die for. He is king of ballads.
Dibur we met last week at karaoke, introduced to us by Fome who was also meeting us for the first time. Fome and Dibur are both fucking amazing, are part of rock bands, and can belt the roof off.

ANYHOW, we went to a sushi buffet! 8D

Then explored and loitered around the mall for a few hours, before we went over to Kazou's house, and that was really fun. ^^

asddjhjhkkf Kazou and Dibur are both talented-ass mothafreakin musical geniuses so at one point when they started having a jam session together, Myst and I kind of died. shhhhhh here's a clip sshhhhhh

(The song is Supercell's Yakusoku no Shiyou.)

Two purchases made, both of which I'm really happy with! ;u;

The first is this adorable necklace, which I couldn't resist. I mean. Keys. Bottles. Long chains. It....this baby was mine the moment I laid eyes on it.
I'm just a little worried about it breaking because it really is cork. :c

I'm keeping it in my little box along with my long glasses necklace and I just salkfjdlk so cute

My other purchase was a book, actually!
I don't have the attention span to do much reading, so this was a huge surprise. However, I really enjoy this because it's a treasure trove of witty and snarky poems. MY FAVORITE THINGS EVER.

This is exactly the shit I wish I could write.
Bo Burnham is kind of a genius.

I'm probably going to be obsessed with this book and its contents for quite a while.

I mean, there are pages like this.

And then there are pages like this. ♥
